Munich concert (2005)

Davis, Miles (IMC Music, DEL 800111)

In 2005 IMC Records released the complete Munich concert by Miles Davis and his band, recorded in July 1988 at the Munich Philharmonic Concert Hall (Germany) during the Münchner Klaviersommer. In that period of time (1986-1990) Davis played the Lukather/Paich jazzy tune Don't stop me now at least at 7 concerts after his contribution to the Toto original, recorded early 1986 for the Fahrenheit album. On Davis' setlists also the Steve Porcaro song Human nature (Thriller) and Scritti Politti's Perfect way (from the SP album Cupid & psyche 85) were featuring. Davis contributed to Scritti Politti's hit tune Oh Patti from the album Provision (1988).
The last song on the 3cd set Munich concert is a bonus song, recorded on August 29th in 1970 during the Isle of Wight Festival.
