Stranger in a foreign land (2005)

Logan, Oni (MBM, CD 4168)

Oni Logan was born in Argentina on the 21st of April. He was raised in New York, Connecticut and Florida. At a very early age, Oni was heavily influenced by classic 1970s Rock Music that was playing on the radio. Oni fronted bands like Defiace in Florida until he moved to California to join the band Ferrari. He was then offered to become the lead singer of the Lynch Mob named after guitarist George Lynch of Dokken.

In October of 1990, Elektra Records released their debut Wicked sensation. It was produced by Max Norman and the band, and sold 480'000 plus copies. The Lynch Mob toured with Wicked Sensation all over the U.S. as well as Europe and Japan. Before they started the 2nd album, Oni parted ways with the band. Upon Oni's departure from the Lynch Mob in the 1990s, Oni formed a band together with former DIO guitarist Rowan Robertson. Violet's Demise recorded their debut album which was scheduled to be released in January of 1995.

Unfortunately it never came out - but several years later, the album suddenly appeared on the internet and became a much sought after bootleg. After a break from the music business, Oni resurfaced in Los Angeles. He started playing the local clubs with a band named Head Set.

At this point Oni started a family and decided to move to Europe, where he and his wife are raising their daughter. Oni Logan continued to write his songs over the years. Today with this new album, called Stranger in a foreign land, he is looking forward to a new chapter in music.
