Lukather is looking back on a very successful and fun stay in New York: "Overwhelmed and honored by Jimmy Fallon and the Roots! I thank you all so much. It Was LOOSE but in that spirit very cool. NOT record versions but those cats have a wicked groove and are THE hip band of the moment, as Jimmy Fallon is the HIP host of late night now...

Happy to even be ON TV in the USA hahaha. It was SO much fun and the Roots are THE nicest cats. They knew more about my career than I did so it was real. Made me smile. Hope it was OK. I never watch myself.

Great gigs at the Blue Note too! Thanks to all Toxic Monkeys, ox!!! TOO much fun playin with this band. Thank you NYC for the best time ever! I will be back!!!"
